Army All-American Bowl

Five quick thoughts

Observations from the game before I head back home in a second...
1.) Pryor was the star, but Missouri fans should be excited about QB Blaine Gabbert. Gabbert completed 5-of-8 passes for 29 yards, and he threw a very tight spiral consistently.
2.) UT fans settle down. Running back Darrell Scott - who could be in the mix with the Longhorns - never had any room to run like the rest of his West teammates.
3.) I think Dan Buckner will help out Texas just fine.
4.) It was pointed out - While R.J. Washington didn't dominate the game, the East did keep running plays away from him all game.
5.) I really liked how hard DB Boubacar Cissoko played. Kid should help Michigan a ton.

East wraps this up

MarQueis Gray just scored on an 11-yard touchdown run. With the extra point, the East now leads 33-17 with just under three minutes left in the game. -Trae Thompson

East pulls off the fake

East just pulled off a fake punt for a 24-yard gain down to the West 41, all but ending this game.

R.J. gets a sack

R.J. Washington just sacked Terrelle Pryor. This game is starting to lag a little... -Trae Thompson

Last gasp?

West got called for a personal foul and has to start at its own 13. But so far it has 1 yard on this drive. -Trae Thompson

We're in the fourth quarter

Just a quick third quarter recap - East has 200 more total yards than the West. Terrelle Pryor has 142 total yards (66 rushing, 76 passing) and 2 touchdowns. -Trae Thompson

Nothing special

West team just is missing a little something. Anyone else agree? -Trae Thompson

Pryor putting on a show

Pryor found John Goodman (Notre Dame) wide open, and threw across the field for a 25-yard touchdown. The extra point failed, but the East leads 26-17 late in the third quarter. -Trae Thompson

Running back makes a play

Been non-existant today, until Lamaar Thomas just gained 23 yards on his run.

East is moving

And Terrelle Pryor is really, really good. -Trae Thompson
