Heart O Texas Speedway (Elm Mott)

Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, cranked up it's 51st season with the Annual Jack Bagby Memorial. Six classes of cars competed with the IMCA Modifieds and the SportMods running for a kool $1,000 to win in their feature races. The IMCA Stock Cars ran for $500 to win. A special thanks goes out to IRP Race Cars and CAM Chassis for helping sponsor the races.
Modified Feature Winner: Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, ran off with this one until a caution came out with one lap to go. On the restart, William Gould, No. 60, gave it all he had, but came up a little short and settled for the second spot. Chris Elliott, No. 915, was third, Kevin Green, No. 5, was fourth and David Goode , No. 13g, was fifth. D. Grantham, B. Walker, F. Wojtek, J. McGaha, and J. Frydrych, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature. This was a Fast Shaft All Star Invitational Ballot Race.

SportMod Feature Winner: Justin Nabors, No. 28, lead every lap for an impressive $1,000 to win victory. Chris Cogburn, No. 601, was second, Gabe Tucker, No. 195, was third, Sid Kiphen, No. 58, was fourth and James Skinner, No. 17s, was fifth. R. White, G. Rawls, J. Upchurch, W. Melton, and J. Shepperd, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-one cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Westin Abbey, No. 12, is $500 richer. Westin took the Istock feature. Dillion Smith, No. 03e, was second, Wade White, No. 68, was third, Ronnie Warren, No. 34w, was fourth and Mike McCarthy, No. 20, was fifth. T. Norman, A.J. Dancer, B. Schoenbaum, A. Rooler, and R. Black, rounded out the top ten. Twelve cars started the feature.

Hobby Stock Feature Winner: Kevin Smith, No. 57, made it look easy taking the feature win. Hayden White, No. 8w3, was second, Damian Snyder, No. 44, was third, Joe Williams, No. 32, was fourth and Justin Webre, No. 9, was fifth. J. Kornegay, S. Dulock, and W. Warren, rounded out the top nine. Nine cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Michael Votaw, No. 88x, was the feature winner. Thomas Bailey, No. 17b, was second, Jamie Herring, No. 222, was third, William Dean, was fourth and Barru Gaston, No. 293, was fifth. J. Pitman, M. Guenat, S. Wade, R. Hopkins, and D. Cates, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Stock Feature Winner: Trevor Cogburn cashed in on the exciting Jr. Mini Stock feature. Jack Johnston, No. 22j, ended up second, Bradley Warren, No. 34w, was third, Austin Moore, No. 88, was fourth and Jessie Shepperd, was fifth.
