Kansas Speedway puts casino plans on hold

International Speedway Corp. and The Cordish Company have withdrawn their join application to manage a $705-million Hard Rock Hotel and Casino at Kansas Speedway because of the current economic crisis. Kansas Speedway had hoped to get a second NASCAR Sprint Cup date added because of the casino, but now that may not happen. Read more here.
