Kovalainen earns his first F1 win

Ferarri's Felipe Massa gained the lead at the start from his third starting spot and had the Hungarian Grand Prix victory in sight until his engine expired just as he crossed the start-finish line to complete the 67th of 70 laps. That handed the lead to McLaren's Heikki Kovalainen, who earned his first career Formula One win on Sunday. Toyota's Timo Glock finished second and Kimi Raikkonen was third in his Ferarri. Polesitter Lewis Hamilton of McLaren suffered a flat tire during the race but recovered to finish fifth and retain the points lead. Need more?
