Keller Central, Grapevine settle for scoreless draw

Grapevine's defense hasn't allowed a goal in four games after Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Keller Central.
The tie moved Grapevine to 8-2-3, 2-0-2 in District 5-5A while Central moved to 7-5-2, 1-2-1.

Big third quarter lifts Keller Central

The Colleyville Heritage Lady Panthers may want to forget about their third quarter Friday at Keller Central. When the quarter started, Colleyville Heritage trailed the Chargers by just two points (22-20). When the eight minutes were over, the Lady Panthers were in a 43-23 hole with a quarter to go. Keller Central went on for the 59-43 win. Carley Russell ended third-quarter shutout for Colleyville Heritage, hitting a 3-pointer with 1:22 left in the third quarter. It ended a 19-0 Keller Central run.

Ashley Manukainiu led the Chargers with 15 points, while Tamenia Jourdan added 12 points and was one of seven Keller Central players to record at least one steal. Alexia Standish led Colleyville Heritage with 20 pooints.
