Ian Kinsler update, tonight's lineups

Second baseman Ian Kinsler, fresh off a cortisone shot in his sprained right ankle, could return from the disabled list April 21 for the start of a three-game series at Boston.

If all goes well with the shot, Kinsler hopes to start running either Sunday at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington or Monday in Cleveland. He said once he's able to run, he can start taking ground balls and turning double plays. If he hasn't experienced any setbacks after a few days of those activities, he would head out on a rehab assignment.

Kinsler isn't anticipating any issues catching up at the plate. He has taken batting practice off and on since suffering the injury March 12, including a few times this week.
