Wednesday morning notes

The Rangers have added infielder Marcus Lemon to their big-league camp. Lemon was needed to replace Khalil Greene. Lemon has been in Surprise and worked with manager Ron Washington on his fielding. He can play both short and second base. Last year for Frisco, Lemon hit .262 in 126 games.

Derek Holland will play long toss today as he continues to recover from a mild right knee sprain. There are no additions to the injury report.

Washington will address the team at 10:30 Texas time, and the Rangers are expected to hit the field at 11:15 for their first full-squad workout.
