The club avoided arbitration with the right-hander, agreeing to terms with him on a one-year contract for $1,320,000. The Rangers still have six players eligible for arbitration - Scott Feldman, Frank Francisco, Josh Hamilton, Dustin Nippert, Chris Ray and C.J. Wilson.
