Padilla exits after getting hit in hand

Right-hander Vicente Padilla had to leave tonight's game in the seventh inning after being hit in the hand by a Howie Kendrick grounder to start the inning. Trainer Jamie Reed went to the mound with manager Ron Washington, and Padilla immediately walked off the field. Jason Grilli has entered to protect an 8-1 lead.
