Detroit third baseman Brandon Inge has held off Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler in the ASG Final Vote. Inge received 11.8 million votes to hold off Kinsler, whose vote count wasn't posted in this story by mlb.com. He led through the first two days of vote but was overcome for the second time in the All-Star voting period. Kinsler had led Dustin Pedroia throughout balloting that determined the starters until getting passed in the final few days.
