Right-hander Casey Daigle was among four players released from minor-league camp. Outfielder Grant Gerrard and righties Kendy Batista and Josh Giles were also let go.
Daigle started spring training in big-league camp on a non-roster contract, and he allowed one run in six innings before being reassigned in the first batch of roster moves. Apparently, he can be seen on a reality show featuring celebrity couples. His wife is softball star Jennie Finch.
