Kinsler has groin issue

Second baseman Ian Kinsler left Sunday's game after the seventh inning with a strained left groin. Manager Ron Washington said the All-Star will be evaluated today.

Kinsler was injured in the first inning while making a nifty play up the middle to take a hit away from Ben Zobrist. Kinsler back-handed the ball but was injured when he spun to throw to first base. He aggravated the injury while legging out a grounder in the seventh.
