Hamilton out

Josh Hamilton has been replaced by Jason Ellison with the Red Sox leading 8-0 in the sixth. Hamilton was removed from a game at Baltimore over the weekend with the Orioles whipping up on the Rangers, so the initial thought is that Ron Washington is resting his center fielder and MVP candidate. But enquiring minds -- those in the press box -- would like to know that officially.
