Blalock to miss rehab stint

Rangers third baseman Hank Blalock will not play for Double A Frisco on Thursday night after feeling tightness in his injured left hamstring while warming up for a rehab stint against Midland.

He will be evaluated today and his status for this weekend’s series against the Houston Astros is uncertain. He went on the 15-day disabled list April 29.
