Sorry it's so late.
It was a travel day and the Stars didn't go onto the ice until 2 p.m. Pacific Time.
Marty Turco will be in net on Sunday. It is a big part of the Stars' plan to use the two goalies together. Marc Crawford reiterated that in a perfect world, Turco would get 7 of every 10 starts and Alex Auld would get three, He said that could change based on performance or circumstance, but that's how they are drawing it up.
It will be interesting to see how Turco responds to his rest. He is 17-6-1 in his career in the regular season against Vancouver with a 1.91 GAA.
Jere Lehtinen still is not completely sure he will play tomorrow, but I would say there's a 95 percent chance he does. He looks fantastic and seems in good spirits, but one of the big parts of his game is battling for pucks along the board, and that will test the sore groin/hip area that he has been battling. We'll get a thumbs up or thumbs down after the morning skate.
Watching practice, it looks like Fabian Brunnstrom could be a healthy scratch. The lines looked like this:
Daniel Sedin appears to be out for the Canucks. He has a swollen heel, and the team is waiting for the swelling to go down to see if this is a long-term injury. The Canucks are also without Pavol Demitra (shoulder) and Mathieu Schneider (shoulder).
By the way, sunny and about 50 here. Much better than Calgary. Lots of Olympic excitement (oh, and Canadian Thanksgiving is Monday) so it's a festive atmosphere.
