Thursday in Detroit

Hey folks,

Pretty quiet morning in the Motor City (man, I love when the Stars play in the eastern time zone. More deadline room). Joel Lundqvist isn't quite as ready to go as originally thought. He got a good day in skating this a.m., but Tippett said they'll also look at how he does in tomorrow's practice in Phoenix. Maybe then he'll roll against the 'Yotes on Saturday night.

Yeah, once again this travel schedule. We'll be here another night (the high was 20-something) and tomorrow it's 70-degree weather in Phoenix. That always makes for a fun suitcase-packing experience. Could be worse...
