With a lot of down time (at least in between games), the biggest thing to report is injuries. Joel Lundqvist, Jere Lehtinen and Steve Ott all skated today, and we already know Ott's going to be out for a while with that hand. Lundqvist, meanwhile, went to his doctor today and the Stars will get a better read on him tomorrow.
As for Lehtinen, there's apparently no timetable on his upper body injury. I asked if that meant another two weeks, three weeks, and coach Dave Tippett said, "possibly." So that's not so good. Sergei Zubov isn't skating at the moment; he's apparently chatting with some doctors but as of now there's nothing else.
Tom Wandell, meanwhile, will likely be used as a center. That's what he's played mostly over in Sweden, and that's where the Stars need someone right now. Save someone else from double shifting.

The guys skate but it doesn't appear they are near coming back. I'm guessing they really want to make sure they are healed. At least they have the gap between games.

When do you think Landon Wilson will be sent back to Grand Rapids

Oh fer cryin' out loud . . . if we never get any playing time out of them, they aren't worth the space on the roster or the money.
I hate saying this as I love what Lehtinen and Zubov have done for us in the past, but let them go, release their money under the salary cap, and get some people in here who can actually contribute *on the ice*.
