Hey folks,
Looks like we will get our first glimpse of Mr. Fabian Brunnstrom tomorrow night against Nashville, as coach Dave Tippett said there's a good chance he'll play. I talked to Brunnstrom about that, and you can tell the kid's excited to get in there. Now the thing we all have to realize is this kid isn't going to just go out there and score three goals a night. He's still going into a very different situation, in a different-sized rink, different system, all of it. He still has much to learn. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to seeing how much he has learned to this point.
Other tidbits: Steve Ott and Philippe Boucher were both off the ice today (apparently they did work out off the ice). Tippett said he's hoping it's nothing serious on both counts, and they'll look at both tomorrow. Jere Lehtinen skated on his own this morning, will probably skate with the team tomorrow morning, but it's doubtful he'll play tomorrow night. I know it's all about the players who are out there, but you can't deny how much of a presence he has when he does play, and how much the Stars miss him in his absence. He is indeed a "glue" guy. We'll keep an eye on when the glue gets back in the lineup.

i don't know. after tonight's game, i now expect mr. fabian brunnstrom to be scoring 3 goals a night.
