Terrell Owens met his former teammates while visiting the Hall of Fame on Saturday. And he chatted them up even more before Sunday's game between the Cowboys and Bengals.
Roy Williams, Patrick Crayton, Martellus Bennett, Jay Ratliff, Terence Newman, Tashard Choice were among the players who spent a good amount of time with Owens before the game. Even rookie receiver Dez Bryant came over and paid homage to Owens.
For a guy who was blamed for dividing the Cowboys lockerroom, which led to his release following the 2008 season, Owens still shares a bond with some of his former teammates.
"The guys in that locker room, they know," Owens said during a chat with the press Sunday before the game. "It was an eerie feeling, a good feeling, to see a lot of the guys come and embrace me as they walked into the Hall yesterday. That shows you right there that they know it wasn't me."
Owens takes solace in his good relationship with some of his former teammates. He says he should still be in Dallas but admits there is no turning back now.

"You have to take the bitter with the sweet, and you move on," Owens said. "Do I think I should probably be there? Yeah. But that's not the case. There's no turning back or going back or redoing anything. Again, I still stand by the things that I said and what was done. I know that honestly it wasn't my fault."
