Starting left guard Kyle Kosier is being targeted at the backup center behind starter Andre Gurode, following the release of guard/center Cory Proctor.
Coach Wade Phillips said Kosier has some experience at the position and the move gives the Cowboys more line flexibility on game day with him at center.
If Kosier is forced into action at center, the Cowboys will play Montrae Holland at guard.
