With a two-game losing streak and the challenge of playing an undefeated team on the road, the immediate future doesn't look that great for the Cowboys. If Dallas loses to New Orleans and the Giants defeat the Redskins on Monday night, the Cowboys and Giants will be tied for the sixth best record in the NFC but the Giants will hold the tiebreaker advantage because of their two victories over Dallas.
So does this make Dallas a desperate team?
"I don’t think so," Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said. "I think we’re confident going into games. I don’t think we’re desperate. I think we know how important the games are and what it can do for us. But we’re not in a desperation mode. Phillips did acknowledge, however, that the Saturday game against the Saints will be a pressurized one for Dallas.

Wade's defense is not the problem, JG's offense must score at least 40 points to give the defense a chance at containing the Saints.

Plain and simply Jerry needs to get the check book out and get super bowl talent ,and the flip side ,start filling out those pink slips. There,s way to much money going out for early shut down in Dec................

Let's wait and see how this game unfolds before passing judgement--even after the two previous deflationary losses.
If the Cowboys beat the 'ain'ts, that could spring board them into the Super Bowl.
The ain'ts don't need this game. The Cowboys do.

The Cowboys seem to do the opposite of the better teams in the league. They start slow and get better as the season progresses while the Cowboys start fast and get worse as the season progresses. Why is that?

Is this another sign of how out of touch with reality, the Cowboys front office is?
Wade probably doesn't think that his future with the team is in danger and is expecting to receive a big (bank exec. type )bonus and a raise this year. Jason Garret probably still thinks that he will be the future head coach of the team. And Jerry Jones obviously still thinks that he can take the team to the Super Bowl with any head coach as long as he is highly involved with the daily operations of the team.
The bottom line is the Dallas Cowboys management need a serious reality check!
