How Bennett knows Steelers defense is good

Bennett Ask Cowboys rookie tight end Martellus Bennett a question and....you never know what the answer might be.

What makes Pittsburgh's defense so good?

"I know they have a lot of greats players on there. A lot of good players on Madden (video game) I like to play with, like (Troy) Polamalu, and um, is (James) Farrior still there? They are pretty good on Madden, so I just imagine they are good in real life. I like to blitz with him. It will be an honor to play against Polamalu."

Alex,

UM, wrong my man on BOTH counts...Steelers don't suck, and they won't go home in the first round because they are going to have a BYE in the first round.

Hey Jesus Garza,

Catch the Cowgirl/Steel Curtain game today? Eat those words!

Hey Tony,

Romo did a lot of dancing alright...dancing around in the pocket nervous as a mouse...

LET'S GO STEELERS!

Romo will not have much time to throw, Barber has a sore toe. The Steelers #1 D will fight to keep Dallas' score low. This will all be scripted by the defensive mastermind, Dick LeBeau.

Dallas' soap opera does indeed blow, and Sunday night they will know how low one too many losses can make you go.

Last week we essentially knocked NE out of the playoff show, now it's time for Dallas to go. We'll all get to watch Hines' smile glow, and maybe even silence from T.O. We'll get to see it all unfold on Sunday, y'know? Getcha popcorn ready for a helluva show.

Steelers suck first off and all u guys do is argue back and forth chill everyone knos the steelers are staying home at training camp till next season there getting knocked off in the first round.

Sorry Mr. Wurschy guess again - the Ravens proved in Super Bowl XXXV (Ravens 34 Giants 7)that you can win a championship with a dominate defense and a mediocre offense. On the flip side if you have a dominate offense and a mediocre defense you can maybe get to the championship but chances are won't win it. (ala Patriots last year) You are right in one regard however, I am a Steeler fan and I may suck, but I am going to enjoy sucking in that warm air come Feb. 1, 2009 in Tampa.

Well then it sucks to be a steelers fan fellas. It takes both offense and defense to win a championship.

oh and by the way, ask Jamaal Charles a question... you won't understand a WORD he says... I don't think English is his first language... or even 2nd! Yet he was probably a B+ Speech major like Earl the Pearl. Or Magna Cum Laude Vince Young (aka 2 + 2 = chicken!)

Have y'all even bothered to get to know Money Bennett before posting your comments? Money loves the media, loves the attention and is mr fun-loving guy, loves stirring it up. Oh and by the way, do you really think most D1 football players actually get an edumication?

That's what you get when you don't go to class at A&M, dumb asses. I'm sure your junior college education is working fine.

So the Pittsburgh defense sucks??? Is that why they are ranked Number ONE!!! I totally agree with Tuschen, it was the offense that has lost our games....not the defense. If it were not for our defense, Pittsburgh may have lost against the Patriots. Pittsburgh's defense is amazing this year and our offense is getting better. You guys need to start doing your homework, before you start trashing our team. Wait until Sunday, then you will see how great our defense is!

How astute Mr. Turrant you can read the final score of an NFL game. In referencing the Giants and the Eagles, if you did your homework you will find that the Steelers offensive woes lead to those setbacks. Against both Roethlisberger had multiple picks, and each case one late in the fourth quarter on their own side of the field resulting in points. Not to mention the OL gave up 5 sacks to the Giants and 7 to the Eagles - the offense was clearly horrible in both cases putting the defense in tough situations all the time. Again I would challenge anyone, the problem with the Steelers is not the defense as the defense will give them a chance to win every game, but rather offensive consistency. Oh by the way, the offense is getting better and better each week. See you in Tampa.

Um...tuschen? remember the Steelers lost to the Giants? and to the Eagles? pointing out that you played 2 top-10 offenses when you lost to both of them doesn't help your argument for Pitt's defense lol

Hey Jesus Garza, what are you smoking, it is well documented that the Steelers have the toughest schedule in all of football. They have already played the number one offense in the Giants, and the number six in the Eagles, and after this weekend with the Cowgirls, and the next two weekends with the Titans and the Ravens, they will have played five of the top ten offensive teams. The Steelers' defense could easily end up in Tampa on February 1, while the Cowgirls continue to point fingers.

you are so right tony the pittsburg defense sucks its just that they havent played anyone with a good offense

Steelers are going to melt from all the dancing TONY ROMO is bringing to this party

BOYS 30

Hey nieuwiefan, did you get an A&M education with Bennett?? It's "our players" not "are players" tool.

Awww Come on Coach Garrett f the film I can play it on Madden!!!!

Yeah, that was mean to exploit this guy. Very good physical player, may not be sharpest tool in the shed. You guys shouldn't exploit are players like that.

What the...? I guess that's what you get with an A&M education.
