Pat Watkins to IR; Pacman fills spot
The Cowboys have placed safety and special teamer Pat Watkins on injured reserve, ending his season. Watkins has been bothered most of the year by a neck injury caused from several shoulder stingers. He aggravated his neck again against San Francisco and it forced him to miss the Seattle game. The injury needs time to calm down, but there are just four weeks left in the regular season.
The Cowboys used the roster spot to activate Pacman Jones from the suspended list to the 53-man roster. He officially had his suspension lifted today.
With Watkins going down, that now leaves Courtney Brown with full duty in the nickel package that he flip-flopped at times with Watkins.

With the exception of Roy and Ken, we have the worst luck with Safeties. We may need Woody and BVates to come back....or even Victor Scott with his old number!!!!!

Remember Bill Parcells used to say" This kid Watkins will one day hurt his neck by the way he tackles" ? Hmmm, guess the guy knew onething or two about dangereous takling.
