RIDICULOUS! I loved the free first down at the time, but it is ridiculous how the NFL has taken too many of the hard hits out of the league. The defense is at such a disadvantage, a DB or Safety not only has too worry about stopping the speedy receiver, but now he has to worry about where you hit him to prevent from getting beat. The Ronnie Lott's and Steve Atwater's of the world would have never been Hall of Famers in today's game. I also think it's funny, that the league will find the player, but promote future games with the highlights on the NFL Network. You can't have it both ways! Don't use the illegal hits to promote your product after you fine the player.

That is crazy. That looked like a good solid clean hit.

I just saw that news on MIKE AND MIKE. After laughing...I thought....why'd the ref miss it? It was probably on a 3rd down play.....I want the play back ...the play after could have been the game changing play!!!!!

So it was a first down play ooops I guess we did nothing....

OH THAT PLAY!!!!!! I thought he was fined on another play he nailed Brooks, but on this particular one TROY's BABLLING caused the fine!!! Good work TA!!!

GOOD HIT. This is football, not futboll.

Looks clean to me.

Now if he had broken Bollinger's neck or seriously injured him with that hit, all you "fans" would be screaming for expulsion. Why don't you ask Bollinger if he felt it was a dirty hit or not? Or better yet, why don't all you arm-chair "authorities" stand up and let Tuck hit you like that?????

Tuck won his appeal and will not have to pay the fine. BTW...it was a legal hit in my eyes...there should have been no penalty (even though it helped the Cowboys), let alone a fine. Goodell finally got something right!

Tuck won his appeal and will not have to pay the fine. Personally, I didn't think his hit on Bollinger deserved a flag (even though it helped the Cowboys), let alone a fine. Sheriff Goodell finally got something right!
