Hard Knocks: What did you think?
The first episode of Hard Knocks was tonight on HBO and it was pretty good. I can't image how hard this thing was to edit with all they had for the first one. They set up all the storylines and there was some good stuff in the one-hour show.
If you didnt' see it....here are some of the things they showed.
Jason Witten changing diapers at home....Rookie TE Martellus Bennett....Superstar Terrell Owens running on the beach one day before camp opened followed by his star-like arrival in his rented Cadillac....Dave Campo....The release of Terry Glenn....Tony Romo at his football camp....Felix Jones getting a bucket of ice dumped on him by Pacman Jones from his second-floor room....Todd Lowber trying to make the team as the 80th player. ...TE Drew Atchison singing.
If you saw it, what did you think?

I thought it was great...you left one storyline out...Roy Willy...he's done...if Courtney Brown steps up in preseason, Roy is gone...Camps was talking about him improving like he was some street free agent longshot...then they go to film, and they ask who the bonehead was that blew a play to allow a TD, and it was none other than #38...The look in Roy's eyes is telling...he has no confidence...he looks done to me...

It looked like the Cowboys are primed for a special season, and I kept wondering what all the other NFL teams were thinking, watching T.O. and Romo tear it up. I thought they contrasted Wade's good ol' boy sense of humor, and Jason Garrett's coaching. I hope they show that this is Wade's team as we go along.

I also thought it was interesting Garrett was the one that pushed for Felix Jones over Mendenhall, at least according to the way it was presented...

Campo was talking about Roy improving because that's been Campo's pet project since he took the coaching job. I don't see them doing anything with Roy; a trade is possible, but waiving him would be ridiculous. Disappointment? Yea, but he is still a contributor.

Why would anyone trade for Roy?
