Oklahoma will apparently return to a normal defensive package this week against Kansas State, as hinted earlier in the week.
Co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach Bobby Jack Wright said after Wednesday’s practice that Nic Harris has moved back to strong safety after playing middle linebacker last week against Kansas in place of the injured Ryan Reynolds.
"I don’t know that we’ll ever put him back there," Wright said. "We’ve worked him almost totally at strong safety this week." Wright also said that Austin Box likely would start Saturday’s game at middle linebacker.
